IT Director Puntland Ministry of Finance

Mr. Ahmed was appointed as the Director-of ICT for the Finance Ministry of Puntland on 8 July 2019. The Director-General is responsible for governing the entire Ministry and is the lead in the implementation of all policies.

Mr. Ahmed is an experienced senior public financial management adviser with more than 15 years of experience in the public and private sectors of both Somalia and the Kenya. Ahmed  holds an MBA in International Public Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. Accompanied by his experience in preparing the annual fiscal budget and issue adequate regulations for its execution. Manage government financial assets, propose bills related to the management of government employees, particularly bills related to staffing, salaries, benefits, and pensions as well as knowledge in ERP financial control systems.

Ahmed Salah is fluent in Somali, English, Kswahili
